Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 24, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.

Make a difference in Washoe County! Volunteer to serve on a CAB.

The CAB's primary purpose is to provide feedback and two-way discussion between the community and elected officials on land-use, planning, proposed development and related concerns within Washoe County's jurisdiction.

Washoe County has 9 Citizen Advisory Boards:

East Truckee Canyon
Gerlach/Empire
Incline Village/Crystal Bay
North Valleys
Spanish Springs
South Truckee Meadows/Washoe Valley
Sun Valley
Warm Springs/Rural
West Truckee Meadows/Verdi Township
